Born on the Isle of Wight (a Caulkhead) Steph graduated from Croydon College with a BA in Graphic Design
in 1999 and worked as a designer in Central London.
Fed up with having a long-distance relationship with her Yorkshire boyfriend she moved to Barnsley and
joined the design team in the summer of 2008. Still in recovery from the culture shock Steph is slowly
getting to grips with the accent and picking up the local lingo.
In her spare time Steph likes to paint and make βartβ from things she finds in the street. Her house is a
bit of a museum of unloved, secondhand and lost things. She enjoys reading, yoga and will try anything that
sounds like fun or a challenge, having tried street- and pole-dancing classes, and taking part in charity
fundraising events which she thinks she may never live to recount.
